With regional travel restrictions in place up until the [ast week or so it's been a great spring to re-connect with all of the beautiful birds from my neck of the woods like this Black-headed Grosbeak.

As I mentioned in the caption above I've been pretty limited this spring as far as photography options. Basically, here in BC, we were asked to stay in our local community and not travel. So that's what I did.
Fortunately we have some stunning birds here and it was actually really nice to re-connect with some of them.

In addition to the spring birds you've seen in this email, I spent a fair bit of time trying to improve my images of Swallows this spring. So stay tuned for another newsletter very soon with that mini-portfolio.
